Client’s problem
The client needed small, complex parts. All the items had to be highly detailed, well-made, and durable. However, conventional 3D printing techniques failed to provide the required quality, while making casting molds proved unprofitable.
Solution
The client turned to Infomir 3D Printing for help. We printed the items on our Hewlett Packard Jet Fusion 5210 industrial 3D printing line using HP PA 12 polyamide. This combination of technology and material enabled us to make small parts as detailed as 1,200 DPI and no more than 80 microns thick.
Result
The client received the items right on time. The parts were durable, highly detailed, and fully complied with the specifications. Thanks to Infomir 3D Printing, the client reduced the prototyping time and thus saved money.
