UESF stands for Ukrainian Esports Federation. The federation regularly hosts esports tournaments and organizes many events dedicated to computer games and esports.
Client’s problem
For just one event, UESF needed a dragon model from the computer game ‘Skyrim.’ The item had to be durable, detailed, paintable, and transportable. To manufacture a model like that, 3D printing using SLA technology (laser stereolithography) was the right option, but the cost of the finished product was high.
Solution
Federation’s representatives turned to Infomir 3D Printing for help. We utilized the MJF technology of an HP Jet Fusion 5210 industrial 3D printer to make a dragon model. As printing material, we used HP PA 12 polyamide as it is resistant to mechanical stress, moisture, UV, and chemicals. This technology helps us achieve a resolution of 1,200 DPI and a layer thickness of 80 microns.
Result
The client received the finished dragon model within five business days. The item was realistic, durable, and transportable. Additionally, the client ordered painting services. The model was post-processed at the Infomir 3D Printing workshop.
